8/6/22 Flood Relief Announcement

It has been a little over a week since our area saw the largest flooding it has ever seen. The devastation was on a large scale across our region but what a week and weekend we have experienced in flood relief efforts! God has moved mightily within the mountains of eastern KY! It has been amazing to see all his provisions across Letcher County! We thank you for your prayer, care, and love through your generous giving.

To catch up to the overwhelming response we here at Meridzo Center and our three Letcher County facilities, (The Farm, ECCO, Calvary Campus) are asking that all donated supplies from the Phase 1 supply list, pause at this time until further notice. This will give us the opportunity to distribute what we have.

If you already have a load in route to us go ahead and bring it, but please no new donations at this time until we make space for storage and are able to get these already received donations into the hands of those that need them the most. We are so thankful for the help in delivering to these families, and welcome the volunteers willing to drive across our County roads to love on these families.

We will continue to accept and are appreciative of financial donations towards the relief efforts, and please continue to label those donations “Flood Relief”. These financial contributions are especially needed as we can meet specific needs from house to house. We also continue to need people on the ground gutting out homes, restoring hope with the work of their hands and the comfort of their words.

Thank you for generosity! Our area has been very blessed by your giving!

"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21
