CLOSED Temporarily - Director Needed

Join us as we pray for God to send a couple to operate this business-ministry.
We plan to re-open the Exchange as soon as He sends them!

Inspired by what God was doing through our Lamp House Coffee shop, a group of Christian businessmen pooled their money and purchased the old, closed Miner's Market and donated it to Meridzo Center. Reborn as Black Mountain Exchange, it is a convenience store and gas station located in Lynch, just down the hill from Solomon’s Porch Retreat Center. It is operated as part of the Meridzo Center Development Corporation, the business outreach and economic redevelopment arm Meridzo Center ministries.

“The Exchange” is committed to bringing locals affordable gas and diesel prices in an area that is remote enough that others might charge inflated, premium prices. There are also pizza, hot dogs, and other ready-to-eat foods. Visitors to the store will find an ever-expanding selection of grocery, automotive and personal care basics, convenience store items, and a growing camping and outdoors section, including a live bait cooler.

In addition to ministering to the community by offering cheaper gas prices and convenient, local, shopping, we are excited that a number of part-time jobs have been created through the store and that we now have our first, full-time employee (working in cooperation with a local OJT program). We also always try to reach out to our customers to fulfill the Meridzo mission of “Helping People and Sharing Jesus”.

There is also a propane cylinder exchange program; and we accept all major credit cards.
