Shekinah Village is a beautiful 35 acre youth camp/retreat center nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. It was started under the direction of Meridzo Center Ministries. The village is not only set apart by its unique design, but also by the presence of the Lord. The word “Shekinah” represents the glory of the Lord. Once entering the village you will see that God’s presence rests on the area. From the peaceful setting of the water to the majestic mountains in the background, it promises to be a place where youth and adults will come into a true relationship with a loving God. The mission of Shekinah Village is to reach youth for Christ. We believe God will bring families to know Him, and through us we can share the love of Christ. Built on God’s word and the concepts of faith, the village will teach youth and adults how to walk by faith.

Youth Camp
This summer we will host two 4-night overnight camps for local 6th-12th graders and four other day camps for all ages. These camps will teach students skills like horsemanship, archery, gun safety, fishing and other wilderness skills. Cabins/bunkhouse
Our cabins and Bunkhouse are available for rent year around. There are four cabins, two of which are one bedroom and the other two have two bedrooms. Our Bunkhouse sleeps up to 33. The maximum stay is seven nights. The cabins are fully stocked with cooking utensils, toaster, coffee pot, bakeware, microwave, stove, refrigerator, bedding, towels/washclothes and everything else you will need for a relaxing stay.
