Since the humble beginning in 1999 Meridzo has served thousands in Harlan County and beyond with food, clothing, furniture and appliances, home repairs, church repairs and construction, rebuilt city parks, offered job opportunities, held back yard Bible clubs all over the tri-city area as well as assisting churches with VBS, concerts in the park, festivals at Christmas, Easter and summer events-all by God's design. He has sent his laborers from all across our country to the "white fields" of the Appalachians. Putting a number on decisions is a very difficult thing because of the vast area we serve but we know from reports of at least 1,500 decisions for Christ. We are grateful for every word that touches a heart that we may never know about.

2007 saw Meridzo Ministries hosting 104 churches from 15 or so different states. Many other families and individuals came for visits, tours or to drop off donations. These many groups consisting of thousands of people – about 2,700 I believe – did prayer walking, (a brochure has been prepared as a guide), held backyard Bible clubs, worked construction projects, community clean-up, worked Swappin’ Meetin, painting, home visits to the elderly, Nursing Home visits, redecorated rooms at Solomon’s Porch Retreat Center, laid flooring and tile, held sewing and craft classes in the Sewing Room, helped with our computers, worked at Manna House, construction at Shekinah Village, built and painted fencing at the equestrian center, attended and helped with the riding clinics, donated hay, shod horses, Christmas parties, delivered food, toys and supplies of all kinds – the list goes on and on.

Hosting NAMB family missions, Book Study for SC Convention group, family reunions, class reunions, prayer retreats, Cross Cultural Conference, church retreats, women’s retreat, church mission groups and individual retreats is a joy and privilege for the staff of Meridzo Center.
