Community Christian Center is a different kind of church. What started off as a meeting of the Meridzo staff for worship and Bible study has grown into a new and thriving local assembly. Community Christian Center is a place where all people can come, they can learn, they can praise, and they can feel loved. The environment is relaxed and casual, free from barriers of race, gender bias, socio-economics and denomination. The pastor is Lynch native Joe Jenkins, who once had a newspaper route in the same neighborhood, and his wife Senta, of Sentacandles. Community Christian Center is currently offering "KFC" Kids for Christ for our 5 - 12 year olds. This is a rapidly growing and valued part of the ministry. There is also a discipleship program to help teach people about having a genuine and vital relationship with Jesus. We have just gotten underway with a Biblically based weight loss and healthy lifestyle program called First Place. Throughout the year there are several medical clinics offering free medical and dental care for members of our community needing those services.
